This page explains how Elsewhere (“the app”) handles information.

Information we collect

We do not collect any information about you. The app has no accounts, makes no network connections, and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.

Information stored on your iPhone

Your journal (postcards received, dates, scenes and focus time), your timer, sound and haptics settings, and the state of the current set are stored only on your iPhone. The home screen widgets and the Live Activity read them from there. Deleting the app deletes this information, and the journal can also be cleared in Settings. When you share a postcard, its image is passed to the app you choose to share it with.

Notifications

Notifications for the start and end of focus and break periods are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them.

During TestFlight testing

While you test the app through TestFlight, Apple may collect crash logs and usage information and share them with the developer together with any feedback you send. This is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and the TestFlight terms.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with the revision date.
